Sharp Thai steps forward to the international standard with ISO 9001: 2008

 The ISO 9001:2008 certification is an international standard that defines good management practices. The certification aims at providing a global standard that spells out quality and trust. To meet the requirements for the ISO 9001:2008 certification means that Sharp Thai is able to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products that meet applicable regulatory requirements and continue to meet changing expectations of customers.

 The purpose of ISO 9001:2008 is to facilitate international trade by providing a single standard that is recognized and respected globally. It is a generic standard and is applicable to organizations in all areas of work.

 ISO is actually stands for “International Organization for Standardization”. ISO 9001:2008 is important because of its international acceptance. It is recognized in more than 120 countries and is the logical choice for any organization involved in international business or committed to quality. Quality management provides framework which assures   products and services satisfy the customer's quality requirements and comply with all the regulations applicable to those products or services which applied with Sharp development cycle:

• Involvement of people: creates an environment where people become fully involved in achieving the organization's objectives

 

• Process approach: to achieve organizational objectives, resources and activities need to be managed as processes, with an understanding of how the outputs of one process affect the inputs of another

 

• System approach to management: the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization depends on a systemized approach to work activities

 

• Continual improvement: adopting this as a part of everyday culture is a key objective for an organization

 

• Fact based decision-making:   effective decisions are based on the logical and intuitive analysis of data and factual information

 

• Mutually beneficial supplier relationships: such relationships will enhance the ability to create value.
